Youth Cookout: The youth are invited to a cookout at the Filaski’s home on Wednesday, July 16. We will meet at the church at 6:00 PM, then carpool to their residence. Bring a bathing suit, a towel, and a pair of old shoes if you plan to swim in the Chattahoochee River.

Grand Adult Trip - The Millennium Gate Museum – Thursday, July 17 – Depart at 9:00 AM: The Millennium Gate is in the heart of Atlanta. Opened in 2008, it was built to preserve and interpret Georgia history, art, culture, and philanthropic heritage. Cost is $15.00 per person plus lunch.  Register online, or by calling the church office.

White County Baptist Association Compassion Day: The WCBA Community Block Party will be at Freedom Park on Friday, July 18, from 6:30-8:30 PM. Join us for food, fun, and games. Volunteers will be needed for distributing handouts, manning our tent, and assisting with serving food. Call the church office if you would like to participate. Following the event, we will continue with the July “Movies in the Park” series with the movie “Overcomer”.

Grand Adult Luncheon – 11:30 AM: What’s a summer without a good hot dog? On Monday, July 21, hot dogs will be provided at our luncheon. You are asked to bring side dishes and desserts.

Kids, Youth, & College & Career, Mini Golf: On Wednesday, July 23, CFBC students will enjoy a game of mini golf in Heritage Hall at 6:30 PM.

Grand Friends – 1:30 PM: Join us at Laurel lodge on Thursday, July 24. This month we are collecting items for their weekly Bingo games. Suggested items are, stuffed animals, neck pillows, large print crossword books, caps and hats, and pre-packaged snacks.
